Faulkner University’s Harris College of Business and Stumbaugh School of Risk Management and Insurance will host “Eyes Up! Looking Forward to Safe Driving and College!” on April 16, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the university’s main campus.
The event is designed to engage prospective students in conversations about the risks of distracted driving while also introducing them to college and career opportunities in business and insurance. Approximately 200 students are expected to attend.
Participants will rotate through three breakout sessions during the morning program:
• An overview of majors within the College of Business, including the Risk Management and Insurance degree and related career paths in the insurance industry
• A distracted driving awareness session featuring virtual reality goggles, offered in partnership with the University of Alabama Institute for Social Science Research outreach program
• A guided campus tour
