Bio
Justin Bond serves as Dean of the Harris College of Business at Faulkner University, where he has been a faculty member since 2005. He earned his Ph.D. in Business Administration, with a concentration in Information Systems, from Auburn University, along with a Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence. He holds an MBA with an emphasis in Human Resource Management from Auburn University at Montgomery, and his bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Faulkner. He also holds certificates in Digital Marketing from Cornell University, Google Analytics, and Generative AI from Microsoft.
Dr. Bond has taught Management, Information Systems, and Strategy courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and currently serves on the university’s AI Task Force, developing curriculum and training resources around artificial intelligence for faculty, educators, and business professionals. He has presented papers at the Decision Sciences Institute, the Americas Conference on Information Systems, and the European Design Science Symposium, and has published research in the Journal of Computer Information Systems, the International Journal of Engineering Education, and AIS Transactions on Human-Computer Interaction.
Dr. Bond is a member of the Association for Information Systems and serves on the Board of Trustees of Alabama Christian Academy and as an Ambassador for the Montgomery Regional Chamber.
In his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities such as fishing, camping, hiking, and scuba diving.
